2011 EX35: Seven Speeds, Blind-Spot Warning

GMC AtlantaEX35 Adds Blind-Spot Warning System - From out of Franklin in the Elvis Presley State comes news of the revised Infiniti EX for 2011. The crossover SUV based on the G sedan platform now comes with the seven-speed automatic transmission used in other Infinitis, 18-inch alloy wheels and availability of 19-inch wheels and Blind Spot Warning System. More information on all types of cars is available at GMC Atlanta. Available in rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, the EX35 keeps the same V-6 engine from 2010. Exterior and interior designs remain mostly unchanged with the exception of new exterior colors and revised instrument panel illumination.

Dual-zone, automatic climate control is now standard on all models. The lineup remains at four models for 2011: EX35 RWD, EX35 AWD, EX35 RWD Journey and EX35 AWD Journey. All models of EX35 are powered by a 3.5-liter, V-6 engine producing 297 horsepower and 253 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to the aforementioned seven-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and downshift rev matching. Fuel economy is rated at 17 mpg City and 24 mpg Highway for rear-wheel and all-wheel drive models.

A new option for 2011 is Infiniti’s Blind Spot Warning system, which illuminates an indicator if it detects a vehicle in the blind spot area. If the turn signal is activated, the Blind Spot indicator flashes and an alarm sounds. Stability and traction control are standard, while Intelligent Cruise Control is optional. Infiniti recombined the option packages for 2011. The Premium Package now includes the Hard Drive Navigation System with XM NavTraffic and NavWeather, Zagat Survey Restaurant Guide, voice recognition for audio and nav, 9.3gb Music Box, streaming audio via Bluetooth, 11 speaker Bose premium audio system, Around View Monitor with front and rear sonar system and advanced climate control with Plasmacluster air purifier. The Deluxe Touring package includes 19-inch alloy wheels, HID xenon headlights with auto leveling, memory system for driver’s seat, outside mirrors and steering wheel, power driver’s seat lumbar adjustment, eight-way power passenger seat and power up-folding second row seats.
